Dr.Robert Bonakdar is a champion and expert in the recognition of personalized nutrition in medicine. A member of the Division of Integrative Medicine, Robert Bonakdar received his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree in psychobiology from Occidental College in Los Angeles. He received the Richter Fellowship for Independent International Research in the field of Southeast Asian heath practices and studied in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, and Indonesia. He completed a clinical and research fellowship in integrative medicine at Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine in La Jolla and a residency in family practice at the Sharp Grossmont Family Practice Residency Program in San Diego. Board certified by the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Bonakdar is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Family Physicians, the California Academy of Family Physicians, the American Holistic Medical Association, and the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. He has conducted award-winning research and presented at numerous conferences in the area of herbal and natural medicines.

Diana Noland is a recognized functional nutrition practitioners and educator and the owner of Noland Nutrition, an Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy private telemedicine practice. In addition to over 45 years of clinical practice, she has served as faculty of the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), developed curriculum for KUMC’s graduate dietetics program, has served as an expert witness, a nutrition consultant, and an author and editor, most recently, co-editor of the Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy: Principles and Practices (Springer Nature 2020). She is a recipient of the Dietitians in Functional Medicine (DIFM) Excellence in Clinical Practice Award and the DIFM Lifetime Achievement Award. Diana is an IFM Certified Practitioner.

Norton Fishman an expert in the use of Functional, Integrative, Nutritional, and Anti-Aging/Longevity Medicine for the treatment of chronic disease. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School and was trained in Internal Medicine at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Fishman is board certified in Internal Medicine. He is a Certified Nutritional Specialist (CNS), a fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of Med-Clu, the Maryland State Medical Society and the American Medical Association. He has presented at the National Institutes of Health, local hospitals and organizations, the University of Virginia Medical School, and the University of Illinois Medical School. He maintains active involvement in training medical students as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and is a director of the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists (BCNS), the certifying arm of the American Nutrition Association.
